Immediate Openings:

Office Administrator 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Daily Administrative Tasks: file and record keeping, processing incoming and outgoing mail, organizing vendor relations and accounts.
  • Customer Service: fielding incoming requests, qualifying leads, responding to customer needs, transferring phone calls to appropriate parties, replying to incoming emails, follow up with new and existing customers.
  • Payroll: Employee time keeping, entering biweekly payroll, managing PTO, tracking mileage and expenses.
  • Bid Preparation: preparing and mailing (physical and electronic) bid packages for Forestry sales.
  • Social Media and Marketing: assisting with social media posts, newsletter distribution, and local marketing initiatives.
  • Company Culture: assist with planning company events, meetings, incentives.
  • Procurement and Purchasing: assist with ordering of materials, supplies, parts, office, and janitorial supplies.

SKILLS:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills a MUST.
  • Customer Service experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Google programs a plus (Gmail and Drive)
  • Basic knowledge of Social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
  • Basic knowledge of Quickbooks Online and ADP are a plus.
  • Strong computer skills to learn new software and hardware.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ground Laborer

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Work as a member of tree care crew providing high-quality tree care to our clients.
  • Assist with specialized pruning and removals jobs
  • Safely operate equipment including chainsaws, chippers, hand-tools, skid steer, and other similar equipment.
  • Conduct Job Site setup and Clean up
  • Maintain an organized workplace and assist in maintaining equipment
  • Assist transporting vehicles and equipment to and from job sites

SKILLS:

  • Strong work ethic, dedication, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in team oriented environment
  • Experience using chipper/chainsaw/bucket truck/stump grinder or very SIMILAR equipment (Preferred but not required)
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain a CDL A or B license within the first 3 months of employment (this is paid for by Susquehanna Tree Care).
  • Must be able to safely operate chipper/chainsaw/bucket truck/stump grinder or very SIMILAR equipment
  • Must be able to work outside in various types of weather.

Climber/Climbing Trainee

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Work as a member of tree care crew providing high-quality tree care to our clients.
  • Continual advancement of pruning standards and techniques.
  • Train and advance in operation of aerial lift equipment.
  • Assist with specialized pruning and removals jobs
  • Safely operate equipment including chainsaws, chippers, hand-tools, skid steer, and other similar equipment.
  • Conduct Job Site setup and Clean up
  • Maintain an organized workplace and assist in maintaining equipment
  • Assist transporting vehicles and equipment to and from job sites

SKILLS:

  • Strong work ethic, dedication, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in team oriented environment
  • Ability to work with customers who are usually upbeat and grateful but occasionally hard to please
  • Knowledge of proper pruning and thinning techniques, tree removal, roping and rigging operations.
  • Experience using chipper/chainsaw/bucket truck/stump grinder or very SIMILAR equipment
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years tree care and rope assisted climbing experience preferred
  • Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to advance in knowledge of pruning practices and standards.
  • Willingness to pursue ISA Certification.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain a CDL A or B license within the first 3 months of employment (this is paid for by Susquehanna Tree Care).
  • Must be able to safely operate chipper/chainsaw/bucket truck/stump grinder or very SIMILAR equipment
  • Must be able to work outside in various types of weather.
  • Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the position.
